シャツというものは、時々、不思議な役割を果たす。
朝、まだぼんやりした頭で袖を通すと、
自分の輪郭が少しだけ整っていくような感覚がある。
WORKERS の“Pullover BD”は、そんな気配を持ったシャツだ。

もとは Modified BD をベースにしているらしい。
でも、プルオーバーというのは前が開かないぶん、
そのままだと少し息苦しい。
だからウェストの絞りを弱くして、
胴まわりにゆとりをもたせるように調整してある。
まるで、着る人の呼吸のリズムを尊重しているかのようだ。

仕上がりは NW、つまり洗いなし。
サンプルは OW で天日干しされているそうだが、
どの生地も大きな縮みはないという。
そう聞くと、なんだか安心して着続けられる気がする。

シャツ一枚にも、思いのほか小さな物語が潜んでいる。

WORKERS のスウェット。

元ネタはトリコタグの横取り、いわゆるリバースタイプ。

本家は化繊入りで、あの独特の「カサッ」とした質感だけど、WORKERS はそこをあえて外す。表30番・中30番・裏7番のコットン100%。

裏ループを短く編んで起毛。これだけで冬用スウェットとして十分。

見た目はクラシック、でも着るとしっかり暖かい。そんな一枚。

The WORKERS sweatshirt is inspired by the classic “tricolor tag” era.

The body is cut horizontally, following the classic reverse-weave style.

While the original uses a synthetic blend with a dry, slightly crisp texture, WORKERS takes a different path: 100% cotton — 30/1 on the face, 30/1 in the middle, and 7 on the back.

The loops on the inside are knitted shorter and then brushed, giving it real warmth for winter.

A simple, classic sweatshirt — but built seriously for cold weather.

WORKERS の “Deluxe Shirt” は、
ウールリッチの重厚な前立てシャツと、BIGYANKのチェックウールのプルオーバーシャツ。
二つの名品の記憶を現代に再構築したような存在だ。

ただ復刻するのではなく、WORKERS らしく“今の生活にちょうどいい”バランスへ落とし込んでいる。
胸には刻印ボタン、他はYANKらしいひし形の意匠。

WORKERSのOfficer Trousers。

ブランドの定番として知られるこのチノは、毎シーズンわずかにシルエットやディテールが変わる。
変化を恐れない定番、という言葉が似合う。

今季は8オンスのチノクロス。
軽く、真夏でも快適に穿ける厚みだ。
同素材のLounge Jacketとのセットアップも可能。
気候の変化に合わせて“現実的な軽さ”を選ぶ、そんな提案だ。

レギュラーフィットは裾幅21センチのストレート。
帯は身頃とは別パーツで仕立てられ、コインポケットには控えめなフラップがつく。
