朝の光を背中に、自転車を押して出る。
荷台にはいつものツールバッグ。
大きすぎず、小さすぎず、ちょうどいい。
「WORKERSのツールバッグ」はもう8年になる。
キャンバスのハンドルが擦れてきたので、手元のバンダナで補強して使っていた。
それもそろそろ限界で、地の布が見えはじめた頃。
気になっていた「OLD CARRY HANDLE」をようやく手に入れた。
キャンバス＋バンダナ＋レザー。
重ねた分だけ、愛着も増した気がする。
これでまた10年は使える。
そんな確信があると、なんだかうれしい。

I push my bike and head out.
The usual tool bag sits on the rack—just the right size.
I’ve had this WORKERS tool bag for eight years now.
The handles started to fray,
so I wrapped them with a bandana.
It worked for a while,
but the canvas underneath began to show.
Then I finally got the OLD CARRY HANDLE.
Canvas, bandana, leather.

Feels like it’ll last another ten years.
That thought makes me smile.
